Hugo Miguez and Stacy Kay now reside in Clearwater, FL and still travel worldwide as competitors, judges, and choreographers. Both continue to work with top professionals in many different dance genres’ furthering their education constantly.
Dance and creativity has always been a driving force in both of their lives. Hugo, born and raised in Florida, began dancing salsa at a young age with his family and later was accepted to be a part of his high school competition hip-hop and break dancing team. Struck by passion and determination, Hugo decided to take up and eventually began teaching other styles of dance such as Salsa, Hustle, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing and Ballroom, working at Fred Astaire and other independent studios.
Stacy Kay began her competition training in Gymnastics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After nine years of strict training she branched out to explore new inspiration and joined Theatre Arts Lyrical, Jazz and Ballet Company. She competed across the nation throughout high school until she was offered a position at a local Arthur Murray Ballroom studio where her passion for teaching blossomed. From that time on, Stacy continued to plunge into as many dances as possible including West Coast Swing.
