Lyla is a lifelong dancer and instructor with an unwavering passion for dance and musical theater. With a career spanning teaching, performing, producing, and choreographing, she’s left an indelible mark on the stage. Her extensive repertoire includes popular musicals like Footloose, Grease, Pippin, Aladdin Jr, Peter Pan, Lion King Jr, Beauty and the Beast, It’s a Wonderful Life, and The Music Man, along with numerous original works. Lyla has collaborated with local schools, the City of Clearwater, Eight O’Clock Theater, the Gulf Coast Dance Theater, and the St. Petersburg College Theater Department. In 2023, she was recognized as Tampa Bay’s Best Choreographer.

Lyla firmly believes in the unifying power of live entertainment, striving to create an inclusive stage where everyone is welcome. Through her exceptional productions, educational initiatives, and outstanding performances, she empowers individuals to achieve their dance dreams and lead happier lives. Lyla is trained and can provide lessons in multiple dance forms in addition to West Coast Swing.
